Skeet & Five Stand | Skeet Field and 5-Stand |
Skeet Field The club’s skeet field features a regulation high house and low house setup with eight shooting stations arranged in a semicircle. Skeet is a game of angles — shooters progress from Station 1 through Station 8, engaging crossing and quartering targets launched from the two houses. Trap | Trap Field and Bunker |
Trap Field The trap field features a regulation underground trap house with an automatic thrower launching targets at approximately 42 mph — simulating the flight path of a flushing bird. The covered bunker protects the thrower and equipment from the elements. Trap shooting is one of the most popular activities at the club and runs year-round, weather permitting. The trap house sits at the center of the field with a raised wooden observation tower above it. Shooters stand on the concrete pad in front of the house while targets are launched away from the firing line toward the wooded backstop. Read more
