Claykickers Youth Clay Sports Team

The Claykickers is the Horseshoe Fish and Game Club’s youth clay sports team. We are a multi-discipline team competing in trap, skeet, sporting clays, and 5-stand, with a strong emphasis on safety and skills development. Multiple experienced coaches provide dedicated instruction and support throughout the season.

The team is open to junior shooters of all experience levels, from first-timers to seasoned competitors.

Disciplines

• Trap — our most established discipline, with regular practice on the club’s trap fields. Youth members are welcome to join or shoot alongside the adult trap league.
• Skeet — developing well-rounded shooters with crossing and incoming target presentations. Youth members are welcome to join or shoot alongside the adult skeet league.
• Sporting Clays — realistic, varied target scenarios that build adaptability and shot selection
• 5-Stand — fast-paced multi-station shooting that combines elements of all clay disciplines. Youth members are welcome to join or shoot alongside the adult 5-Stand league.

Competitions

Claykickers athletes compete at multiple events each year, including regional shoots and state-level championships across all disciplines. Competing alongside peers from other clubs is a highlight of the season.
