Trap Shooting

Trapshooting is a specific form of clay target shooting. Trapshooting is a game of movement, action and split-second timing. It requires the accuracy and skill to repeatedly aim, fire and break the 4 1/4 inch disc which are hurled through the air at a speed of 42mph, simulating the flight path of a bird fleeing a hunter.

Due to the recent daylight savings change, the start time for trap shooting on Thursdays will be changed from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM beginning on 04/10/25. In addition, the 2025 trap league will begin on Thursday, 06/05/25, at 3:00 PM and will run for 10 weeks during the regular Thursday trap shooting time. The league will be followed by a banquet.
