Trap Shooting

Trapshooting is a specific form of clay target shooting. Trapshooting is a game of movement, action and split-second timing. It requires the accuracy and skill to repeatedly aim, fire and break the 4 1/4 inch disc which are hurled through the air at a speed of 42mph, simulating the flight path of a bird fleeing a hunter.

2026 Season

Thursday start time is now 3:00 PM (changed from 1:00 PM as of April 2, 2026 due to daylight saving time).

The 2026 Summer Trap League begins Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 3:00 PM. The league runs for 10 weeks followed by a banquet. Each shooter shoots 2 rounds of 25 shots per week ($5.00/round). Make-up shooting is allowed. Non-league shooters are welcome on Thursdays but league shooters have priority.
