Trap Field
The trap field features a regulation underground trap house with an automatic thrower launching targets at approximately 42 mph — simulating the flight path of a flushing bird. The covered bunker protects the thrower and equipment from the elements.
Trap shooting is one of the most popular activities at the club and runs year-round, weather permitting.
Thursday Trap Shooting
Open trap shooting is held on Thursday afternoons. Members and their guests are welcome. See the schedule for current start times, as hours shift seasonally with daylight changes.
Trap League
The annual Trap League runs for 10 weeks during the summer on Thursday afternoons. The league is followed by a banquet at the end of the season.
See the Trap League page for full details and current scheduling.
